Carol Ohmart interviews chronicle tough life with abusive Mormon mother who tried to control her life.

Carol Ohmart has a tough life growing up as a child. Her parents were divorced when she was very young and her mom had an abusive and controlling personality which affected her 3 marriages. I mean Carol had her first husband picked for her by her mother. The 2nd husband could not stand his mother in law and stated Carol's film career was sabotaged by the actions of her mother. Her 3rd husband had Carol and her mom essentially vying for the affections of the same man. Sounds so damn crazy. These two articles are priceless. If the links don't work to the articles, both stories were written by Gregg Barrios who was the President of the Carol Ohmart fan club of Texas who had a crush on her in high school and actually was successful corresponding with her back when she became a star. He wrote the articles for the Los Angeles Times. I wanted to contact him but discovered he has passed away.
