Carol Ohmart in the 1960 film WILD YOUTH also called NAKED YOUTH

Carol Ohmart did a film called WILD YOUTH and also known as NAKED YOUTH. Carol plays the character of Madge who is a heroin addict. In the film they nicknamed the drug "Horse" which must be before my time. Her boyfriend Revas played by John Goddard is her dealer as well. Revas steals some horse from a Mexican dealer at a bullfighting stadium and he and Madge flee Mexico across the border into the states. The drugs are stored in a doll they purchased in Mexico.

Revas and Madge pickup some runaway reform school boys named Frankie (Robert Arthur) and Switch played by (Steve Rowland). Frankie's girlfriend has gone with them. Her name is Donna and is played by Jan Brooks.

Things go south on the drive and Switch, Frankie, and Donna abscond with the doll full of drugs with Revas and Madge in pursuit. Pursuing all of them is police detective Maddo played by Robert Hutton.

During this time innocent people get killed as Revas stops at nothing to recover the drugs. It ends well with the junkie Madge played by Carol Ohmart saving Maddo's life and killing Revas.

Not Carol's best film, but still a part of her movie history.
